Thinking of setting up a NAS server using archlinux.

Decided to give Capistrano a pass. Using Fabric for automated deployments.

Redis is freakishly fast for auto suggests provided you give it enough RAM. Getting instant suggests with 3 million dummy strings.

Spent an insane amount of time trying to fix a USB Grub booting issue when the real problem was with the BIOS. Flashing it fixed it.

Now on to installing Arch Linux on a 4 Gb pen drive for the NAS server.

Finally, my NAS is ready with Arch Linux running on an thumb drive of 4 Gb. Phew, adventurous weekend :).
