I went to the office without my phone. Saw this as an opportunity for an IoT/automation project. Can I use a sensor at my door that can alert me when I leave home without a phone?

Got a list of sensors and had a rough sketch in mind using an ESP32 for this. In passing, Gemini mentioned that the Apple Watch already has this feature. If you leave your iPhone behind and exit a certain geofenced radius, your Apple Watch will ping you with an alert. Asked whether the Google Pixel Watch has this too and got an affirmative.
